AVA has been successful in securing funding from the Department
of Health for a three year project to improve responses to women
experiencing violence and abuse, problematic substance use and
psychological distress. A Coordinator will be responsible for
overseeing this project across the three sites of Bristol,
Nottinghamshire and London with support from a national steering
group, an independent evaluator and sessional trainers.
Evaluation is a key component of the first stage of the project
and AVA wishes to appoint an independent expert to evaluate the
action research which will be carried out over a twoyear period
(September 2010-2012.) We are now inviting tenders for the contract
of evaluating the Stella Project Mental Health Initiative.
