Information from Professor Betsy Stanko at the MET's Head, Strategy, Research and Analysis Unit:

The Metropolitan Police Service is currently conducting an important piece of research examining the increase in reports of rape and sexual assault made to the police, and we want to hear from service providers like you. We are particularly interested in trying to estimate whether rape / sexual assault, and the circumstances surrounding it, has changed in London.

In order to help us understand the wider picture of rape and sexual assault across London, the Strategy, Research and Analysis Unit has been tasked to consult with your organisation to explore your experience of helping victims of these offences. We are interested in all victims, whether they reported their allegation to the police or not.
