Q: Can I attend one of your
training courses?
A: Our training
courses are accessible to all practitioners working in the violence
against women sector, or related sectors, across the UK. Please
read the outline for the course you are interested in to ensure the
course matches your abilities and training needs.
Q: Do you provide
lunch?
A: Yes,
refreshments and lunch are provided at all our open trainings.
Q: How many people attend a
training course?
A: We allow a
maximum of 16 participants to ensure a high quality.
Q: What time does a
training course start?
A: Our trainings
run from 10.00am until 4.30pm unless otherwise stated.
Q: How much does one of
your open training courses cost?
A: All of our full
day trainings cost £90 for voluntary sector workers and £130 for
statutory sector workers unless otherwise stated. If you don't know
which sector you are or you belong to neither, please contact
us.
Q: What happens once I have
sent in my booking form?
A: Once your
booking form is processed your place is reserved and a confirmation
email will be sent to you. You will receive all the relevant
information and receive your invoice for your training a fortnight
before the event.
Q: I need to cancel my
place…
A: If at any point
after receiving your confirmation email, you wish to withdraw from
a training, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellation one month, or more,
prior to the training date - no charge/full refund
Cancellation two weeks prior to the
training date - 50% charge/50% refund
Cancellation within two weeks prior
to the training date - full charge/no refund
You may give your place to another
delegate as long as we are notified of the name change along with
contact details at least one week before the training date. You may
not transfer your place onto another course except in exceptional
circumstances.
